Oral surgery is a specialized branch of dentistry focused on the pathology and reconstruction of the oral cavity's jawbones, teeth, and soft tissues.
At Fiziodent Polyclinic, we perform a full range of oral surgical procedures. The most common include surgical removal of wisdom teeth and retained roots, apicoectomy, sinus and alveolar ridge augmentation as part of dental implant treatments, and procedures involving the soft tissues of the oral cavity.
Modern dental implantology combines specialized knowledge from oral surgery, periodontology, and dental prosthetics.
The specialists at our clinic have many years of experience in dental implantology, with particular expertise in implant-prosthetic reconstructions in the aesthetic zone.
Our oral surgeons perform every procedure safely, painlessly, and efficiently, allowing patients to approach any surgical intervention with confidence and ease.
Dental implants are a highly sought-after solution because they are a modern method for replacing one or more missing teeth without the need to grind down adjacent teeth.

In the photos below, you can see a dental implant, an abutment (the connector between the implant and the crown), and a crown on the implant.
Dental implants offer many advantages because, besides their aesthetic role, they restore teeth's functional role. An implant acts as a tooth root, connecting with the jawbone.
It becomes a permanent part of the chewing system, giving the patient the feeling of “having their own teeth again,” as it provides a completely natural sensation.
Prerequisites for a patient to receive an implant:
- Sufficient bone thickness and height.
- Healthy gums and good oral hygiene.
The first step in placing dental implants at Fiziodent Polyclinicis creating an individual treatment plan, which requires an orthopantomogram (OPG) and sometimes a CBCT scan of the area where the implant will be placed.
The procedure for placing titanium implants takes only about 30 minutes, is performed under local anesthesia, and is entirely painless. Recovery after the procedure is quick. The osseointegration process, the healing and connection of the implant with the bone, takes 3 to 9 months, after which the suprastructure (crown on the implant) is fabricated.
Dental implant care requires the same attention to hygiene as natural teeth. It is essential to brush your teeth regularly.
Clean interdental spaces with floss and interdental brushes.Rinse your mouth with antibacterial solutions. Attend regular dental check-ups. Proper care helps prevent inflammation around the implant (peri-implantitis), which can lead to implant loss.
By placing dental implants, patients regain full aesthetics and functionality, as demonstrated in the before-and-after case presentations. The left photograph shows the initial situation before the removal of the upper and lower bridges, while the right photograph shows the situation after implant placement using the All-on-4 and All-on-6 systems.
All-on-4 involves four implants, while All-on-6 involves six implants supporting a row of 10 to 14 teeth, replacing teeth in edentulous patients.
This is a fixed prosthetic solution (implant-supported bridge) that restores the chewing function. A significant advantage of this system is immediate loading, meaning that within 24 hours, a patient who was previously without teeth receives temporary teeth.
