The Inman Aligner is a removable orthodontic device designed to correct minor orthodontic irregularities. This removable orthodontic treatment occupies a middle ground between a traditional removable appliance and clear aligners. Due to their comfort in the mouth and lower visibility, clear aligners have largely taken its place in the field of orthodontics.

The advantage of the Inman Aligner is the shorter treatment time, which effectively corrects minor irregularities. It must be worn for 18 to 20 hours a day, and the treatment duration ranges from 6 to 18 weeks, depending on the patient’s specific orthodontic condition.

It works on the principle of moving nickel-titanium springs that activate arches positioned on the front and back sides of the front teeth. The inner arch pushes the teeth outward, while the outer arch works in the opposite direction, pushing the teeth back. In this way, the teeth are corrected gently yet effectively.
