The price includes the placement of the braces, all check-ups, removal of the braces, and the making of a removable retainer.

3. Do fixed braces and aligners straighten teeth that protrude outward?

Yes. They serve to align the teeth, but they also have a function of closing gaps. They also correct the bite.

4. Can braces be paid for in installments?

Yes. We accept MasterCard from Zagrebačka Banka in up to 24 installments, Diners in up to 24 installments, and PBZ Visa in up to 24 installments, all interest-free.

5. How long does orthodontic treatment approximately take?

The duration of treatment depends entirely on the orthodontic condition, which we can only assess after the first examination.

6. How many days after the first orthodontic examination can fixed braces be fitted?

Once you decide on fixed braces, they can be fitted within 7 to 14 days.

7. What is an aligner?

It is a transparent removable appliance used to correct almost all orthodontic irregularities, provided that all instructions from the orthodontic specialist are followed.

8. Can Invisalign Comprehensive Premium and Standard be used for just one dental arch?

Unfortunately, no. Invisalign Comprehensive Premium and Standard are designed to correct more complex irregularities and are always applied to both dental arches in order to correct the bite as well as misaligned teeth. However, there are other packages available that can be used to address irregularities in a single dental arch.

9. Do you take impressions/scans for aligners at your clinic?

Yes, impressions/scans are taken at our clinic and we also take photos of your progress.

10. Is it possible to see what the teeth will look like after orthodontic treatment with Invisalign or SimplySmile?

Yes, it is. After a detailed examination, the orthodontic specialist creates a treatment plan that you can view before starting orthodontic therapy.

11. How often are check-ups needed after fixed braces are fitted?

The frequency of check-ups depends on the type of irregularity and the stage of treatment. Sometimes check-ups may be every 2 weeks, and often every 6 to 8 weeks.

13. Does health insurance in Slovenia cover part of the cost of braces?

If you have foreign insurance that covers dental services, you will need to check your policy to confirm coverage.

14. Can a 10-year-old wear fixed braces?

A 10-year-old typically has mixed dentition (a combination of baby and permanent teeth). Fixed braces are only placed once all the teeth are permanent and mature, that is, after the growth and development of their roots is complete.

16. What is a retainer?

A retainer is a removable appliance worn mostly at night, but it should be taken seriously because treatment results can only be maintained through regular wear. If it is not worn, relapse—meaning the teeth shifting back toward their pre-treatment position—can occur quickly.

17. How many days after the first orthodontic examination can a clear aligner be delivered?

Once you decide on a clear aligner, we can deliver it to you within two weeks.

18. How long should a retainer be worn?

The length of retainer wear varies for each individual, and patients should never stop wearing it on their own. It is important to follow the orthodontic specialist's instructions.

19. What are the biggest advantages of a clear aligner compared to fixed braces?

The main advantages are that it is lightweight, removable (although it should be worn for 20 to 22 hours a day), and easy to clean with a toothbrush. Its greatest benefit is that it is transparent, making it hardly noticeable when worn.
