Six Month Smiles is a non-invasive orthodontic method designed for patients who wish to correct minor orthodontic irregularities. These are mostly aesthetic issues, such as crowded or rotated teeth, or gaps between teeth. The aesthetic fixed brace consists of brackets and a thin, tooth-colored wire.

Aesthetic orthodontics is not a substitute for traditional comprehensive orthodontics, whose goal is to complete the therapy as close as possible to the "ideal" occlusion (dental alignment). The Six Month Smiles therapy aims to give the patient an attractive smile within an average of six months while also improving occlusal relationships as much as possible.
